  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil/coconut oil

  • 2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (divided)
  • ยฝ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

  1. Wash and peel the raw plantain and keep them aside. Since the raw plantain is tough to peel, peel them with the help of a knife.
  2. After that carefully slice the plantain with the help of a slicer for uniform shape and size. You can also use a knife to slice the plantain if you can cut them into a similar shape and size.

  1. Take a half bowl of cool water to add salt and turmeric. Stir it until the salt gets completely dissolved.
  2. Place the peeled plantain into the salt and turmeric water for 10 minutes.

  2. Now take a mixing bow to add oil and ยฝ teaspoon turmeric. Mix it well.

  2. Place the coated plantain in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do it in batches instead of overcrowding the basket. Be careful while putting the plantain slices into the basket because itโ€™s hot and you donโ€™t want to burn yourself.
