Potato is one food that tastes good however it’s cooked. Air fryer diced potatoes are one of them. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and are packed with flavors.

These delicious air fryer diced potatoes can be served as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. You can make this recipe extra crispy with the skin on, but it’s not mandatory. I like mine without skin that is super crispy too.

How to cook air fryer diced potatoes?
We love air-fried potatoes, especially the air fryer diced potatoes are our favorite. A few ingredients are needed for this recipe. You can always play with the recipe and add on your favorite seasonings if I’ve missed out here.
Ingredients for air fryer diced potatoes:
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable/olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon mixed herbs
- ¼ teaspoon chili flakes/powder (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instruction for air fryer diced potatoes:
- Thoroughly wash the potatoes, peel the skin off pat dry with a kitchen towel. (you can leave the skin on if you prefer)
- Dice the potatoes into cubes approximately 1 inch thick.
- Take a mixing bowl to add oil, garlic powder, mixed herbs, chili flakes (optional), salt, and pepper. Mix them until combined.
- Put the diced potatoes into the mixture and combine them together and coat them well.
- Now preheat the air fryer to 200C/400F for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the seasoned diced potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overlap the potatoes for an evenly cooked result.
- Cook the potatoes at 200C/400F for 20-25 minutes. Toss the potatoes halfway through the cooking process. Cook until the potatoes are golden brown on the outside.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer basket and serve them with your favorite dipping sauce/ serve it as a side dish.
- Serve and enjoy your tasty and crispy air fryer diced potatoes.
Note: You can remove the cooked small potatoes if any while tossing them halfway through the cooking process.

If you overload the air fryer basket the food the result is unevenly cooked food. To avoid this problem, you should cook the food in batches and toss/flip the food halfway through the cooking process.

Yes, you can cut the potatoes into any shape of your liking. There is no compulsion that the potatoes should only be diced.

Before storing these potatoes let them cool completely. And transfer the potatoes to an air-tight container and store them in the refrigerator. They are good for 3-4 days.
