Air fryer roasted garlic can be addictive because they are creamy, sweet, perfectly caramelized, and has a smooth texture. I love to add roasted garlic to most of my recipes like vegetables, pasta, bread, and many more because it enhances the flavor.

How to make roasted garlic in air fryer?
This is the easiest recipe by far I’ve ever made in my air fryer. Incredibly, all the ingredients are in your kitchen pantry, and it just calls for a few simple ingredients and preparations.
Ingredients for roasted garlic in air fryer:
- 2 garlic bulbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions for roasted garlic in air fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 200C/400F for 3 minutes.
- With a sharp knife slice off the top of the garlic enough so you can see the cloves inside.
- Take a piece of aluminum foil and place the garlic bulb in the center.
- Drizzle the garlic bulb with oil and sprinkle with some salt.
- Carefully wrap the garlic with the foil forming a small pouch. Wrap the rest of the garlic bulbs into a pouch.
- Place the garlic pouch in the air fryer basket and make sure you don’t overcrowd the basket. Cook the garlic at 200C/400F for 25 minutes.
- Remove the garlic pouch from the air fryer basket. Let the hot steam escape by opening the pouch carefully.
- Check if the garlic is soft and creamy if not place them back in the air fryer basket and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
- Let the roasted garlic cook for a while. Squeeze the whole garlic bulb to remove the head, or scoop them out with a help of a spoon.

Tips:

- Make sure you cut off the top of the garlic enough so each garlic clove is open.
- Let the roasted garlic bulb cool down completely before you squeeze them out.
- Be careful while opening the garlic pouch because the hot steam might burn you.
Storing Roasted Garlic
Put the roasted garlic in an air-tight container and store them in the refrigerator. They are good for 3-4 days.
You can store the air fryer roasted garlic in the freezer for a longer period of time. Put them in a freezer-safe container/bag and store them in the freezer. They are good for 4-5 months. Simply thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and they are ready for use.
