Air fryer fried garlic is so flavorful that it adds so much flavor to your dish. I came across this delicious air fryer garlic recipe because I love garlic. I like to sprinkle the roasted garlic over my food and even on salad for that extra crunch.

Previously I used to roast it in my pan, but now since I have an air fryer, I like to air fry them. It’s easy and quick.

What I do nowadays is air fry garlic cloves and store them in a container. This has made my life much easier. You don’t need to make it time and again which saves your time and energy.

You can also make an air fry garlic bulb. It’s soft and delicious. Simply spread it with a knife over the bread or add it to pasta sauce.

How to make air fryer fried garlic?

Making air fry garlic chips and air fry garlic bulbs is easy and simple. I’m sure that all the ingredients needed for the recipe are already available in your pantry. The ingredients I’m using for air fryer fried garlic and garlic bulb are almost similar. The only difference is one you have to slice and the other you don’t.

Now let’s find out what are the ingredients for air fryer fried garlic:

  • 7-8 peeled garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • A pinch of salt and pepper

Ingredients for air fryer garlic bulb:

  • 1 garlic bulb
  • Aluminum foil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • A pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. First of all, if you’re making air fryer fried garlic, peel the garlic and slice them into a thin slice. You can easily slice the garlic using a knife (be careful don’t hurt yourself).air fryer garlic fries
  2. Now take a bowl and put the sliced garlic and add the oil, salt, and pepper. Mix them well until the garlic slices are coated evenly.Minced garlic in air fryer
  3. Preheat your air fryer at 160C/320F for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Transfer the seasoned garlic slices into the air fryer basket and cook at 160 C/320F for 5-6 minutes or until they’re golden brown. Toss or flip halfway through the cooking process.Roasted garlic in air fryer no oil

Note: Keep an eye over your garlic, don’t burn them.

Instruction for air fryer garlic bulb:

  1. To make an air fry garlic bulb start by cutting the top of the garlic bulb allowing to expose the cloves.
  2. Put the garlic bulb on a piece of aluminum foil and dribble with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fold the foil into a pouch.
  3. Preheat your air fryer at 160C/320F for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Place the garlic pouch in the air fryer garlic and cook for good 20 minutes at 160C/320F.
  5. Take the pouch out from the air fryer and let it sit and cool for a few minutes.
  6. After the pouch is cooled, pop the cloves using a spoon and spread it over the bread, and enjoy your garlic bread.

  • While making air fry garlic chips try to slice the garlic cloves evenly thin so that they air fry at the same time.
  • Toss/ shake the garlic halfway through the cooking process for an evenly air-fried result and avoid burning.
  • While making air fry garlic bulb use aluminum foil because it’s more convenient.
  • Store the air fryer fried garlic in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Eyeball the garlic while air frying because you don’t want to burn them.

How to store air fryer fried garlic?

I always love to make some extra fried garlic whenever I make one and store them to use later.

You can simply store your garlic in an air-tight container and keep them in the refrigerator.

If you have made an air fry garlic bulb then leave the cloves in the bulb and wrap them in foil and store them in the refrigerator. This can last up to 1 week.
