- 1lb ground turkey
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 small to medium onion (finely chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Take a large mixing bowl to add egg and beat it. Then add the rest of the seasoning to the bowl and mix them well.
- After that add the ketchup and yellow mustard mix them well. You can also use Dijon Mustard instead of yellow mustard.
- Now add the ground turkey to the seasoning mixture. Mix them well until combined.
- After that give the mixture a meatloaf shape with even thickness that fits in your air fryer basket.
- Preheat your air fryer at 180C/350F for 5-minutes.
- Place the turkey meatloaf in air fryer basket and be careful the basket is hot, don't burn yourself.
- Cook the turkey meatloaf at 180C/350F for 20- 25 minutes. Check the meatloaf after 20 minutes and check. If you think it needs more time then you can add 10 minutes more.
- Meanwhile, the meatloaf is cooking and you can start making the topping sauce. Prepare it by combining ketchup, yellow mustard/ Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.
- Spread the topping sauce on the meatloaf when there is about 5 minutes left on your air fryer timer.
- Remove the turkey meatloaf from the air fryer basket and let it rest for 8-10 minutes before serving.
