Believe me they are better than the frozen biscuits in oven. The most common frozen biscuits you’ll find in the market are Pillsbury Grands, Mary B‘s.

Cooking frozen biscuits in air fryer is simply easy follow these steps.

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 350F degrees for 5 minutes.
  2. Add pre-cut parchment paper or baking sheet on the air fryer basket and place the frozen biscuits in a single layer.
  3. Cook frozen biscuits in air fryer for 10-12 minutes. You can flip the frozen biscuits halfway through the cooking process for evenly cooked biscuits.
  4. Serve it with your favorite beverage (tea or coffee) or with jam, jelly and many more.

Ingredients
1 bag of frozen Pillsbury grands biscuit.

  1. Spray a thin layer of oil in the air fryer’s basket to prevent it from sticking. (you can also use parchment paper but it’s better not to use as it may block the airflow under the biscuits and takes longer time)
  2. Place 4 to 6 pieces of frozen grands biscuits in an air fryer basket in a single layer, don’t overcrowd them and spray the oil on top of the biscuits for golden brown.
  3. Cook them at 350F degrees for 10-12 minutes. Flip the biscuits over halfway through the cooking process. If you feel it’s not cooked thoroughly add some more time and cook the biscuits until golden and cooked through.
  4. Serve it and enjoy the biscuits.

Yes, you can cook frozen sausage biscuits in air fryer. This dish is usually served as a breakfast in my family and they love it.
It’s easy to make and tasty at the same time that is filled with crispy breakfast sausage, cheese, and scrambled eggs.

How long to cook frozen sausage biscuits in air fryer?

The cook time and temp for frozen sausage biscuits in air fryer are 350F degrees for 12-15 minutes respectively. You can flip it halfway through cooking to ensure it cooks evenly.
Cook as per the time mentioned above or you can cook until golden brown.
You can also make sausage biscuits in an air fryer from scratch, and here’s the ingredient and instruction.

Ingredients:

  • ½ pound breakfast sausage or any preferred sausage
  • 1 tablespoon butter (I love more butter in my biscuits you can also use ½ tablespoon)
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ freshly grounded pepper
  • 1 tablespoon shredded cheese
  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits

Instructions:

  1. Cook the sausage breaking into crumbles till they’re brown and cooked and set aside in a plate.
  2. Cook the egg until soft scramble as it’ll continue to cook inside the biscuits. (don’t cook the eggs till dry)
  3. Preheat the air fryer at 350F degrees for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Take biscuits from the can and cut it into half and top half the biscuits with sausage, eggs and cheese.
  5. Place the remaining half of the biscuit and seal them together.
  6. Put the biscuits in the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 7-10 minutes and flip it over halfway through cooking.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

 

Can I cook canned biscuits in an air fryer?

Canned biscuits are the best option if you don’t have the frozen biscuits. Yes, you can make canned biscuits in the air fryer.
I usually cook the canned biscuits at the same temperature as for the frozen biscuits.
And for canned biscuits you need to decrease the time by 2-3 minutes then frozen biscuits. Check them when they are close to cooking and see if you have to add more time or not.

Why are by biscuits not crispy?

The biscuits turn out to be spongy because of the ingredients that bear the moisture such as eggs, brown sugar, 00 type flour while making the dough. For that you can avoid using eggs in your dough because they have a high moisture rate which makes your biscuits soggy despite being crispy.
