Ingredients for french toast sticks:

  • 5-6 slices of bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup sugar (granulated)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions for french toast sticks:

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 175C/350F for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Take a shallow mixing bowl or a plate to add eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla essence. Mix them until well combined.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon powder together and keep aside.
  4. Stack the slices of bread and cut them into thirds.
  5. Dip the bread pieces into the egg mixture, transfer them into the sugar and cinnamon mixture, and coat them well. You can skip the cinnamon if you are not a big fan of it.
  6. Place the bread pieces into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd the basket instead cook in batches.
  7. Air fry them at 175C/350F for 5-7 minutes or until the bread are golden brown and puffed. Flip the french toast sticks halfway through the cooking process.
  8. Serve your french toast sticks with honey or maple syrup with some fresh fruits and enjoy.
