How to make air fryer cheesecake?
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to prepare cheesecake in air fryer.
Ingredients:
- Cake Crust: You can use Graham crackers for the crust. If it’s not available at your place then you can use digestive biscuits as a substitute.
- Unsalted Butter: Melted butter.
- Cream Cheese: Soften at room temperature.
- Sour Cream: You can also use heavy whipping cream to substitute sour cream if you don’t have it.
- Lemon Juice: It’s commonly used in New York Cheesecake. You can skip it if you don’t like it. If you’re using it, I recommend fresh lemon juice instead of bottled one.
- Sugar
- Salt
- Vanilla Essence
- Eggs

Instructions:
- Take a medium mixing bowl, add the graham cracker, butter, a pinch of salt, and combine them until the crumbs are evenly moist.
- Spread the butter evenly to the bottom of the pan and place a parchment paper. Then shift the crumbs to the pan and press it into the bottom. Refrigerate it until hard.
- Now let’s prepare the filling:
- Take a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, sugar, and beat them until no lumps are remaining. You can use any cream cheese that you prefer.
- Now add the sour cream, vanilla essence, lemon juice, and whisk them until combined. Then beat the eggs and pour the eggs into 3 parts.
- After that add the whipping cream and melted unsalted butter to the batter. Mix until they combine.
- Meanwhile, preheat your air fryer at 150C/302F for 5 minutes.
- Grease some melted butter on the sides of the cake pan. And pour the cheesecake mixture into the cake pan. Drop the pan lightly to remove any air bubbles.
- Transfer the cake pan into the air fryer basket. Cook at 150C/302F for 15 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 115C/240F and bake for an additional 30 minutes. In between the transition of temperature do not open the air fryer basket.
- When the total time is up, turn off the air fryer and let the air fryer cheesecake cool in the air fryer basket for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, let’s make the sour cream topping.
- Take a mixing bowl, add the sour cream, icing sugar, vanilla essence, or add lemon juice if you prefer the citrus taste. Mix until combined.
- Spread the sour cream topping on the cake. Bake at 150C/302F for another 5 minutes and let it rest for 30 minutes. If you prefer your air fryer cheesecake without topping you can omit this step.
- Remove the air fryer cheesecake and leave it to cool completely. It usually takes 2-3 hours. Once cooled, refrigerate the cake for at least 6-8 hours or leave overnight.
- Slice and serve your delicious air fryer cheesecake and enjoy.
