How to make a veggie burger in air fryer?

Let’s see what ingredients you need to make a homemade air fryer veggie burger.
I’m making an air fryer vegan burger for 2 people so I’ll be taking less quantity of each ingredient. But you can add the quantity accordingly.

Ingredients:

  • 200g boiled white beans rinsed and drained (I used navy beans because they cook fast)
  • 2 eggs/ 50g Oats if you don’t eat egg
  • 10g fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder/ 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Salt to taste

Instruction:

  1. First, take a mixing bowl and mash the boiled beans.
  2. After that add the rest of the ingredient’s onion, bell pepper, eggs, tomato sauce, oregano, cumin powder, paprika, garlic, and salt. Mix them well.
  3. Preheat your air fryer at 180C/350F for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, the air fryer is heating. Take a tablespoon and scoop out 1 ½ spoon of mixture and shape them into patties.
  5. Place the veggie burger patty in the air fryer basket. Put 2 patties at a time if you have a small air fryer and if you have a large one you can put 3-4 patties at once.
  6. Don’t overlap the patties.
  7. Cook them at 180C/350F for 10-12 minutes and flip them halfway through the cooking process.
  8. Remove the veggie burger patties from the air fryer and set them aside.
  9. Take a bun, cut it into half and place them in the air fryer basket for 2-3 minutes at the same temperature. Your bun for the burger is ready.
  10. Place the veggie burger patty on the bun and add desired toppings/dressing and serve.
