- 1 can refrigerated Croissant Rolls

- First, you need to unroll the dough sheet and pat it out to make a triangle.
- If you want to add some spread on your croissant you can add it at this moment. As I’m not adding anything I’ll start rolling them up.
- For rolling you have to start from the widest end to the top point.
- Following the same way, roll up the rest of the dough sheet and set it aside.
- Preheat your air fryer at 180C/350F for 2-3 minutes. This process helps to cook the air fryer croissant evenly.
- Place the croissant in the air fryer basket 2-3 a per batch according to the size of your air fryer basket. Cook them at 180C/350F for 5 minutes and flip them over and cook for another 4-5 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove the air fryer croissant and serve.

How to shape an air fryer croissant?
Shaping the air fryer croissant is simple and easy; it's not difficult as it looks.
- First of all, you need to divide the dough in half as it’s easier to work. After that roll, it out and make a long rectangle.
- I usually don’t measure but you can approximately make 9 inches wide, 21 inches long, and ½ inch thick.
- Take a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut the dough. You need to cut the edges away and cut the dough into long triangles.
- After that starting from the wider part of the triangle, roll it away from you to the smaller part. Pinch the end of the dough underneath the croissant and bend a little to give the croissant a curved shape.
How do you make croissants from scratch?
If you want to bake an air fryer croissant at home, the ingredients and making process are simple and easy.
Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 ¼ cup unsalted butter(cold)
- 1 cup milk
- 1-2 eggs (for egg wash)
- ½ cup choco chip
- 2 ¼ teaspoon salt
Instruction
- Take a large mixing bowl and add all the dry ingredients first all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast, and salt stir them until combined. Add the choco-chip and combine.
- Pour milk according to how you like your dough to form because you might not need the whole cup of milk.
- After the croissant dough is formed wrap the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit for an hour.
- Place the butter sticks directly or you can prepare the butter by arranging the butter sticks horizontally on a piece of plastic wrap. Add another layer of plastic wrap over it. Pound and roll out on both sides until the shape of the butter is a rectangle and refrigerate until the air fryer croissant dough is ready.
- After an hour lightly flour the working area and roll the dough into a long triangle shape. Place the butter in the center of the dough and fold it like a letter into thirds.
- Repeat the lamination process 4-6 times.
- Then roll your air fryer croissant dough and give them the shape by following the instructions given above.
- Let the croissant sit for another hour and you’ll start noticing the raise then brush them with egg wash.
- Preheat your air fryer at 200C/400F for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the croissant in an air fryer basket in a single layer and bake them at 200C/400F for 8-10 minutes and flip the croissant and bake for another 8-10 minutes on 180C/350F, until the croissant is golden brown on the outside.
