Crack an egg into a mixing bowl, whisk it, and set it aside. Add all-purpose flour to a second shallow bowl. Grab another bowl and combine cinnamon, sugar, and bread crumbs. Simply blend them by giving them a brief stir.
Now slice the bananas into 4 to 5 pieces.
Each banana piece should be dusted with all-purpose flour. They should then be dunked in the egg mixture, and let the excess runoff. Finally, cover them with the bread crumbs mixture. Make sure the bread crumbs completely cover the bananas.
For the remaining bananas, follow the same steps, then set them aside.
Preheat your air fryer at 180C/360F for 2-3 minutes.
Put a single layer of banana fritters in the air fryer basket. For the best outcome, avoid stuffing the basket too full.
The air fryer banana fritters should be cooked for 12 minutes at 180C/360F. Midway through the frying time, flip the fritters.
Depending on how crispy you want your banana fritters, you can adjust the cooking time.
Remove the banana fritters from the basket carefully.
