With a fresh kitchen towel or paper towel, pat the chicken dry.

To ensure that the spices are properly fused and the chicken is cooked to perfection, make some slits in the chicken breast area.
Rub the oil all over the chicken properly and set it aside.
3 tablespoons vegetable oil or any preferable oil
Take a small mixing bowl to add paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix them until well combined.

Sprinkle a generous amount of spice mixture over the chicken and use your fingers to rub. This way the spices get all over the chicken evenly and each part of the chicken gets flavourful.
Preheat your air fryer at 180C/355F for 5 minutes.
Now place the chicken into the basket. Cook the air fryer roast chicken at 180C/355F for 25 minutes on each side.
Let the chicken sit for about 10 minutes before slicing.
