Air fryer fried okra is crispy and full of flavor. This vegan air fryer fried okra can be served as an easy snack or you can also serve them as a side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ pound okra (fresh or frozen) I’ve used fresh okra for the recipe 
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable/olive) I’ve used vegetable oil 
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer at 160C/320F for 5 minutes.
  • Clean the okra under clean water and dry them completely using a paper towel or clean kitchen towel. cut them into ½ inch thick pods slices.
    ½ pound okra (fresh or frozen)
  • Take a mixing bowl put the sliced okra and add the seasonings. Give them a quick mix.
    1 tablespoon oil (vegetable/olive), salt and pepper to taste
  • Cook at 160C/320F for 15 minutes. Shake or toss them halfway through.
  • Remove and serve it with your favorite dipping sauce or serve as a side dish and enjoy.
