First, I always like to start with wet ingredients. So, I melt the butter in a microwave for 15 seconds. Transfer it into a large mixing bowl and add both the sugar and beat for a minute or two until the creamy and fluffy texture. Add vanilla extract, egg, salt, and beat it again until they are combined.
After all the wet ingredients are done now it’s time to add your dry ingredients. Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, and mix until they combine. Finally, add the chocolate chips and stir with a spatula until combined.
Now, preheat your air fryer at 350F for 5 minutes. Preheating the air fryer provides the cookie dough a hot platform that helps to cook the cookies evenly and fast.
Meanwhile, the air fryer is heating, you start shaping the dough for cookies. Divide the cookie dough into the equal potion and gently roll it into a ball and place it in the working space.
Flatten the ball with your hand and make a flat disc the disc should be 2 ½ inches thick.
Place the chocolate chip cookie dough in the air fryer basket in a single layer leaving enough space between the cookies. You can also use parchment paper.
Bake the cookies at 350F for 5 minutes.
Remove the chocolate chip cookies from the air fryer and let them cool before your serve.
