Preheat your air fryer at 200C/400F for 5 minutes.
Cut the chicken cubes into 1 and ½ inches or bite-size.
1 lbs chicken breast or chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
Put the chicken pieces in a bowl or Ziploc bag and add the cornstarch or potato starch, salt and egg to combine so that chicken cubes get evenly coated.
1 egg, salt to taste, 2 tablespoons potato starch or cornstarch
Tap out any excess cornstarch and place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket.
Cook them at 200C/400F for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165F. Toss the chicken halfway through the cooking process.
Take a saucepan put all the ingredients and cook on medium heat and bring to simmer. Let the orange sauce simmer for 5-6 minutes with occasional stirring.
½ cup of orange juice (120ml), 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey/ brown sugar, orange zest, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, ½ teaspoon grated ginger (I used fresh)
Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket in a bowl and add the sauce over them. Combine the sauce until the chicken is coated evenly.
Plate your air fryer orange chicken sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion on top. Serve your easy and delicious air fryer orange chicken breast and enjoy.
