Mix the dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls.
Take a mixing bowl to add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix them well until well combined.
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt
Take another large mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter. Mix them until smooth without any clumps. After that add vanilla essence and mix it well.
1 cup sugar, ¾ cup unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Now add half of the dry ingredients and mix, and add the other half and combine well.
At this point if your dough seems to be dry, you can add 4 tablespoons of milk to it until the dough is firm.. Don’t add too much milk.

Preheat your air fryer at 175 C/350F for 3-5 minutes.
Take a scoop out small balls of the dough using a scoop or spoon. Make small balls of the dough, flatten, and cut with a cookie cutter to give shape.
After that place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook at 175 C/350F for 8-9 minutes until cookies are golden.
Allow them to cool before serving and enjoy.
