Clean the gizzards and cut them into bite-size pieces.
1 lb. Chicken gizzards
Take a pot, add the water and bring it to boil. As soon as the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low.
Put the chicken gizzards into the pot and don’t let them boil or they’ll be tough. This process will take 1 or 2 hours to turn the gizzards nice and tender but it’s worth the time.
Remove the gizzards from the water and set them aside and let them dry.
Preheat your air fryer at 200C/400F for 3-5 minutes.
Take a mixing bowl to add all the dry ingredients and mix them well. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
2 Eggs, ½ teaspoon Garlic powder, ½ teaspoon Paprika, Salt and Pepper to taste, ¼ cup Corn starch
Dip each piece of gizzards into the egg and put in the seasoned flour. Coat them evenly, tap out the excess flour and let them sit for 4-5 minutes.
¼ cup All-purpose flour
Place the coated chicken gizzards in the air fryer basket and lightly coat them with the cooking spray.
Cook them at 200C/400F for 10 minutes. Toss/shake the basket after 5 minutes and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Remove and serve them with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy.
