The first step is preparing your mushrooms by rinsing them through cold water and completely drying them using a paper towel or clean kitchen towel.

Preheat your air fryer at 175C/350F for 5 minutes.
While your air fryer is heating, prepare the stuffing. Take a bowl to add crumbled sausage, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thinly sliced green onion, and salt to taste.

Give them a good mix and you can use a spoon or your fingers to stuff the mushroom.
Place the sausage stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 175C/350F for 10 minutes or until the mushrooms are browned and cheese on top is golden crispy.
