Melt the butter in a microwave for 15 seconds. Transfer it into a large mixing bowl and add both the sugar and beat for a minute or two until the creamy and fluffy texture. Add vanilla extract, egg, and beat it again until they are combined.
¼ cup white sugar, ¼ cup brown sugar, 1 egg (room temperature), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ cup unsalted butter
After all the wet ingredients are done now it’s time to add your dry ingredients. Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt and mix until they combine. Finally, add the chocolate chips and stir with a spatula until combined.
1½ cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Now, preheat your air fryer at 160/320F for 5 minutes. Preheating the air fryer provides the cookie dough a hot platform that helps to cook the cookies evenly and fast.
Divide the cookie dough into the equal potion and gently roll it into a ball and place it in the working space. Flatten the ball with your hand and make a flat disc the disc should be ½ inches thick.
Place the chocolate chip cookie dough in the air fryer basket in a single layer leaving enough space between the cookies. You can also use parchment paper.
Bake the cookies at 160C/320F for 12 minutes.
Remove the chocolate chip cookies from the air fryer and let them cool before your serve.
